Say Hello to My Little Friend…

December 23, 2011 by Rebecca Wagner 6 Comments

…and tell him how yummy he looks!  LOL  Here is a cute little Christmas gift idea for those of us who like to give goodies out at Christmas.  This snowman container is part of SVG Cuts December Gifts kit available now for $6.99.  He is so stinkin’ cute I can’t stop squeeing.

His lil’ friend, Mr. Gingerbread does not come in the kit but good news, he is a SVG Cut freebie.  I almost cut tooth marks out of the side of Mr. Gingerbread’s head but couldn’t bring myself to do it because he is too adorable.

I forgot to cut out his bow tie.  No problem, My Thoughts Exactly to the rescue!  There just happens to be the perfect size bow in the Holly Jolly tags.  As you can see, my embossing skills need some work.  Oh well.  I would also like to say a public “THANK YOU” to Belinda over at SVGs by Bee.  She sent me the tag stamps as a Christmas present.  Isn’t that sweet?!?  You are the bestest!

The reason Frosty is holding a cookie you ask?  Because he also makes an great tag for when you are gifting the goods.  I used the Holly Jolly tags once again for the back.  To make him look even more festive, I wrapped his hat and layered his scarf in Berry Blue Trendy Twine.  I ran some old white ribbon I had laying around through my Xyron and just placed the twine to give it some stability.  I wanted the ends to stand up.  It worked out really well.

Now all you have to do is write that special friend’s name and you have a awesome gift to bring to brighten anyone’s Holiday!  I just couldn’t stop taking pictures, sorry there are so many.  He is just lovely.

Since he is so cute I am entering him in a couple challenges.  First one is the 3D Winter Challenge on SVG Cuts Facebook page.  If you don’t think you would like to enter, there are some great entries.  Go take a look and comment on your favorites.  Second is the Trendy Twine December Challenge.  This one was the real reason Frosty is waving around his dessert.  I took the first row of the Tic Tac Toe board.  Don’t understand what in the world I am talking about?  The challenge information can be found on their blog.

Thanks for stopping by and have a very Merry Christmas!

Thanks ladies! He worked up pretty quick too. I think gingy’s head should be smashed because he makes me fatter. It’s his fault, I tell you!!

Foil lovers... we heard you. Since our foil equi Foil lovers... we heard you.

Since our foil equipment went down, the messages and emails have not stopped. We know how much you love the look and honestly we love it too.

Replacing commercial foil equipment runs into the tens of thousands of dollars and, like a lot of small businesses right now, that's just not realistic.

After months of testing with our existing setup, we think we found a way to bring foil back.

It's not mass factory perfect. Occasionally there may be a tiny spot where the foil doesn't pull 100%. Nothing obvious, nothing we wouldn't personally use, and nothing that doesn't meet our standards will ship.

But overall? We think it looks pretty gorgeous.

Before we officially bring foil back…

Would you still want it knowing it's handcrafted and not machine perfect?

Tell me honestly in the comments. Your feedback will decide this one.

Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reaso Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reason…

They’re narrow.

And I get it.
Personal is the perfect middle ground. Bigger than Pocket, fits in your purse, but way more portable than A5.

But the width?
That’s always been the complaint.

Lately I’ve been seeing people try to squeeze Personal Wide into standard Personal binders… and then wonder why the pages stick out.

So instead of making it wider… I went the other direction.

Foldouts.

For 2026, I reworked the layout to give you more planning space without changing the footprint.

Month on one page
Straight into your weekly
Dashboard space (because you know I had to keep that)
And when it’s folded?
Standard Personal Size. Fits your binder like it should.

Now I need your opinion before I finalize this…
