Lil Angel Ornament

December 21, 2011 by Rebecca Wagner 2 Comments

Back with another project from the bi-weekly challenges over at the Make the Cut forum.  If you have the time and Make the Cut, come over and join in the fun.  This time it was an angel ornament.   Trish got the project from blog surfing where she happened upon the Fred, She Said blog.  You need to go over there and take a look at Tracey Lynn’s decked out angels.  So beautiful! The files can also be downloaded for free from her site.  They are available in SVG and GSD format.  They do include the wings but I used Bee’s totally awesome wings again.

Can you see how how gorgeous they are up close?  I can’t get enough of them.  Or my crinkle ribbon.  I used the Iced Spruce and Evergreen Bough from the new Tim Holtz Holiday Distress Ink Set.  Love those two colors together on the ribbon.

The beautiful holly is also a SVGs by Bee specialty.  It is part of her Christmas Garland collection available now.  Also, for your information, Bee is giving away an adorable gift box with ANY purchase.

The holly leaves are actually made to fit together perfectly, I skewed them on purpose.  I just wanted it to take up more space on the front so I moved the top over more. You don’t have to put the holly together like I did.  I was going for a little shadow effect.

Hope you enjoyed your stay here and don’t forget to leave a comment and pick up the angel file.  I really appreciate everyone who stops by.

Awesome, aren’t they.  Clicking the picture above will take you to the product page.  The Christmas Garland collection is only $2.49 and the wings are $0.99 and you get the Christmas Tree gift boxes free with purchase.  Go check them out!
