Paperclip Box

June 4, 2014 by Rebecca Wagner 6 Comments

office box 1No, no, I didn’t make a box to just hold paperclips. Although, this box is pretty big. It could hold lots of them. It’s called that because of the huge paperclip on the top. It’s from a Good Day at the Office SVG kit from SVGCuts. If you haven’t seen this kit, hit the link and check it out. It has quite a few 3D pieces I can see using over and over again. I used it for the We Like You a Latte hop just a few weeks ago. My friend loved her espresso beans in the latte cup I made. I think I will make the card in the kit for Father’s Day and the typewriter too.

paperclip office box I also thought this box would be another great use of my new planner stamps from Annie’s Paper Boutique. After going hogwild on my DayTimer, I still was in stamping mode. Since this box is for my office/craft room, I decided to make my own paper with the stamps.

paperclip box - side viewThe At Home planner stamp set isn’t just for planners anymore! Plus, the Circa 1934 paper by Cosmo Cricket lends a little Mad Men type quality to the box. I am really pleased with how it came out. Now I can stuff it with all the planner junk I seem to be accumulating lately.

office paperclip boxTo finish it off, the “thank you” stamp is from A Jillian Vance Design’s Many Thanks set.  Just in case I happen to give this away.  I don’t think I will but you never know. My friends are always coming over and stealing my crafts. Do you have people that do that to you too? Or are most of the crafts you make made to be given away?

Supplies: Good Day at the Office SVG kit – SVGCuts; At Home stamp – Annie’s Paper Boutique, Many Thanks stamp – A Jillian Vance Design; white cardstock, Circa 1934 – Cosmo Cricket.

Foil lovers... we heard you. Since our foil equi Foil lovers... we heard you.

Since our foil equipment went down, the messages and emails have not stopped. We know how much you love the look and honestly we love it too.

Replacing commercial foil equipment runs into the tens of thousands of dollars and, like a lot of small businesses right now, that's just not realistic.

After months of testing with our existing setup, we think we found a way to bring foil back.

It's not mass factory perfect. Occasionally there may be a tiny spot where the foil doesn't pull 100%. Nothing obvious, nothing we wouldn't personally use, and nothing that doesn't meet our standards will ship.

But overall? We think it looks pretty gorgeous.

Before we officially bring foil back…

Would you still want it knowing it's handcrafted and not machine perfect?

Tell me honestly in the comments. Your feedback will decide this one.

Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reaso Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reason…

They’re narrow.

And I get it.
Personal is the perfect middle ground. Bigger than Pocket, fits in your purse, but way more portable than A5.

But the width?
That’s always been the complaint.

Lately I’ve been seeing people try to squeeze Personal Wide into standard Personal binders… and then wonder why the pages stick out.

So instead of making it wider… I went the other direction.

Foldouts.

For 2026, I reworked the layout to give you more planning space without changing the footprint.

Month on one page
Straight into your weekly
Dashboard space (because you know I had to keep that)
And when it’s folded?
Standard Personal Size. Fits your binder like it should.

Now I need your opinion before I finalize this…
