Personalized Fall Felt Wreath

January 2, 2014 by Rebecca Wagner 6 Comments

Personalized Felt WreathWould you believe I have another Autumn project I forgot to post? Probably not. You guys know my brain isn’t what it used to be. I would have said memory, but there is more wrong with me than that. O_o With the advent of Pinterest I don’t think it matters too much anymore if us bloggers craft out of season. Our readers will pin a cute project to their boards to make at a later date. Pinterest is a blessing for the feeble minded like me.

Personalized Felt WreathSince making the big Fall felt wreath, I was itching to make another one. While searching my stash, I happened upon this 8″ form. I don’t know exactly what kind this is…wicker? wood? Doesn’t matter, but it’s a smaller one, which was perfect because I only had a few flowers left over. I have always wanted to add a banner on a wreath. I think this project came out quite lovely. My bestest friend thought the same thing. So much so, that even though it doesn’t really match her decor colors, she is hanging it inside and all year round. 🙂

Personalized Felt Wreath 2A little Trendy Twine in one of my favorite color combos and some washi tape equals an adorable banner. The name is cut out about an inch high in black vinyl. Why is it when something is small, it’s all the more cute? You know, like babies and puppies? *shrugs* Being that this is a chibified version of my full size felt wreath just makes me squee with happiness. OK, moving on…..

Good news: when everything’s written down, at least the chaos is organized.

Pay it. Check it off. Pretend you’re thriving.

Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reaso Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reason…

They’re narrow.

And I get it.
Personal is the perfect middle ground. Bigger than Pocket, fits in your purse, but way more portable than A5.

But the width?
That’s always been the complaint.

Lately I’ve been seeing people try to squeeze Personal Wide into standard Personal binders… and then wonder why the pages stick out.

So instead of making it wider… I went the other direction.

Foldouts.

For 2026, I reworked the layout to give you more planning space without changing the footprint.

Month on one page
Straight into your weekly
Dashboard space (because you know I had to keep that)
And when it’s folded?
Standard Personal Size. Fits your binder like it should.

Now I need your opinion before I finalize this…

What works better in vertical boxes?

Field research, planner style. Since the Coach no Field research, planner style.

Since the Coach notebooks are sold out, I grabbed this leather cover on Amazon to test the fit.
Good news: it fits beautifully (and it’s roomy enough for tabs).

Bad news?
I got excited and didn’t read the whole listing.

No snap.
No elastic.
Just vibes.

Luckily I’ve got elastic on hand… but consider this your reminder from someone who learned the hard way:

Read the full listing, friends.

Sometimes the best combinations aren’t planned… they just happen.

The Aquarelle Sky cover paired with Candy Rush tabs turned out to be one of those moments. The colors line up so perfectly, it looks like they were made for each other.

Just a little unexpected color magic.
