XOXO

February 1, 2012 by Rebecca Wagner 10 Comments

Yep, more 3D letters.  This time I made a set just for me.  A little XOXO decoration to put on the piano to remind my hubby Valentine’s Day is coming.  With Valentine’s Day also comes our anniversary.  It’s actually the 11th.  He needed a holiday so he would never forget the day he met the best help meet evar.  *coughcough*  Yeah, so anyway, I wonder what he’s getting me.  Hopefully something sparkly.  In the meantime, take a look at my crafty project for today.

These are only about 3 1/4″ high.  I wanted to be able to cut as many as possible on one sheet of paper.  I really don’t go big with Valentine decor so these were kept on a smaller scale.  I actually like putting these together at this size.  I could hold them better to wait for the glue to dry and the My Thoughts Exactly Candy Hearts stamp fit perfectly.

They are so adorable in mini!  Now I have to make more….muahahahaha.  I hope you guys aren’t sick of my 3D projects yet.  I am the same way with food, drives my husband crazy.  When I like something, I kinda obsess over it.  I do it or eat it over and over again, day after day.  I can’t tell you how many days last week we ate White Chili.  YumYum.  My hubby was ready to pitch it out the window.  >.<  OK, drifting again, back on track.  Like it, love it or hate it, let me know in the comments!

Supplies:
3D Letters SVG kit by SVG Cuts
Bazzill Basics paper in Fussy (base)
Best of Brenda Walton stack by K & Co. (face)
Crinkle Ribbon homemade by me
All Candy Hearts & je T’aime sentiment stamp by My Thoughts Exactly

Thanks for stopping by!  Come back tomorrow for a special post.  I am a guest designer for one of my favorite places in the whole world.  Oh, there might be a giveaway or something like that too.  ^__^

These are adorable! I love the fact that they are small also. Sometime a little project can have a WOW effect the same as a big one. Thanks for playing with us this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reaso Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reason…

They’re narrow.

And I get it.
Personal is the perfect middle ground. Bigger than Pocket, fits in your purse, but way more portable than A5.

But the width?
That’s always been the complaint.

Lately I’ve been seeing people try to squeeze Personal Wide into standard Personal binders… and then wonder why the pages stick out.

So instead of making it wider… I went the other direction.

Foldouts.

For 2026, I reworked the layout to give you more planning space without changing the footprint.

Month on one page
Straight into your weekly
Dashboard space (because you know I had to keep that)
And when it’s folded?
Standard Personal Size. Fits your binder like it should.

Now I need your opinion before I finalize this…

Since the Coach notebooks are sold out, I grabbed this leather cover on Amazon to test the fit.
Good news: it fits beautifully (and it’s roomy enough for tabs).

Bad news?
I got excited and didn’t read the whole listing.

No snap.
No elastic.
Just vibes.

Luckily I’ve got elastic on hand… but consider this your reminder from someone who learned the hard way:

Sometimes the best combinations aren’t planned… they just happen.

The Aquarelle Sky cover paired with Candy Rush tabs turned out to be one of those moments. The colors line up so perfectly, it looks like they were made for each other.

Just a little unexpected color magic.
