Boss Kut Gazelle Print & Cut Update

November 15, 2011 by Rebecca Wagner 2 Comments

We existing Gazelle owners finally have the good news concerning the upgrade to the 3 point Print and Cut registration!  I will just let Mr. Boss Kut tell you himself –

“Boss Kut is proud to announce their new 3 point alignment upgrade for Gazelle’s shipped prior to September 1, 2011.  This will give those Gazelle customers a more accurate cutting on their print and cut projects as opposed to the 1 point alignment on the previous Gazelle’s.

In order to use the new print and cut customers will have to have the Funtime III version for the Gazelle.  If you do not have that version you can buy the full program for
$ 129.99 or the download version for $ 69.99 which reprograms the dongle and if you want a back up CD with your download it is $ 82.99.  All of these options are available at www.bosskut.com and you can click on the upgrade underneath the picture of the Gazelle.

If you have Funtime III all you will have to do is buy the upgrade for print and cut which will include a new mother board for your Gazelle and download for the Funtime III print and cut program.  The cost of this is $ 89.99 plus shipping of your Gazelle back to Rolla, MO and returned to you.  This will normally run from $ 10.00 to $ 20.00 each way.  If you want to install your own mother board we will ship it to you for $ 79.99 plus shipping of $ 4.99.  Please understand if you do decide to change your own motherboard and your machine is in warranty it will void the remainder of that warranty.  It is not difficult but you have to be precise in how you remove the old motherboard and install the new one.  Instructions will come with the motherboard replacement.

It will take 3 to 4 weeks before we will have the new motherboards in stock.  We are taking orders now so we know what quantities to order. We will notify you when it is time to ship your machine to us for the upgrade. This will only take a day or two and your machine will be on its way back to you. You can place your order at www.bosskut.com go to the Gazelle Print and Cut Upgrade Category.

We are extremely pleased with this new print and cut and you can view the tutorials at www.bosskutforum.com   If you have any additional questions please contact us and we will be glad to assist.  You can e-mail at info@bosskut.com or call 573-364-7849.

Sincerely,

John Parkins”

With Christmas coming soon, this will be something that is going on the back burner.  I will definitely be looking at this after the first of the year.  But for now, I will keep using my Silhouette SD for any PnC.  It is great that they are going above and beyond and I really appreciate the effort everyone over at Boss Kut put into this and make us existing customers happy.

I am not a Gazelle owner but am interested in the new print and cut functionality. I can’t find any information about how the new three point system actually works. I can’t find any video about it in the bosskut visitor forum.

I don’t think they have a Print n Cut video with the new 3 point yet. I will make a post when I have more information.

Meet the Still Here Notepad.
A gentle reset for the days that hurt, when the smallest wins still count.

Foil lovers... we heard you. Since our foil equi Foil lovers... we heard you.

Since our foil equipment went down, the messages and emails have not stopped. We know how much you love the look and honestly we love it too.

Replacing commercial foil equipment runs into the tens of thousands of dollars and, like a lot of small businesses right now, that's just not realistic.

After months of testing with our existing setup, we think we found a way to bring foil back.

It's not mass factory perfect. Occasionally there may be a tiny spot where the foil doesn't pull 100%. Nothing obvious, nothing we wouldn't personally use, and nothing that doesn't meet our standards will ship.

But overall? We think it looks pretty gorgeous.

Before we officially bring foil back…

Would you still want it knowing it's handcrafted and not machine perfect?

Tell me honestly in the comments. Your feedback will decide this one.

Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reaso Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reason…

They’re narrow.

And I get it.
Personal is the perfect middle ground. Bigger than Pocket, fits in your purse, but way more portable than A5.

But the width?
That’s always been the complaint.

Lately I’ve been seeing people try to squeeze Personal Wide into standard Personal binders… and then wonder why the pages stick out.

So instead of making it wider… I went the other direction.

Foldouts.

For 2026, I reworked the layout to give you more planning space without changing the footprint.

Month on one page
Straight into your weekly
Dashboard space (because you know I had to keep that)
And when it’s folded?
Standard Personal Size. Fits your binder like it should.

Now I need your opinion before I finalize this…
