Baby Lilah Letters

July 6, 2011 by Rebecca Wagner 6 Comments

First off, I hope everyone had a safe and fun Fourth of July! Ours was great. We were just going to have a BBQ with our little family at home until our Pastor called us over his house. It was soooo nice to get together with our church family for a wonderful time of food and fellowship. I will say, they put on a mean BBQ.  Everything tasted great and the conversation was even better.

So sorry I haven’t been around for a few days but it was nice to take time to relax.  My hubby even took a few off to recharge.  So I finally got around to taking pictures of my new project.  It is with the 3D Letters set from SVG Cuts.  I wanted to make  a wall hanging for the parents of little Lilah as they don’t have a lot of room right now.

The letters take a some practice to get the hang of.  The H was especially heinous.  But I think as I make more it will become easier.  Now I have the general idea how the files work.  It is one of those you have to make them to really understand, instructions are good but doing it is better.

Please excuse some of the mistakes.  I know I didn’t put some of the letters together right and left some pieces off.  But what they don’t know won’t kill them 😉

Even though I do see where I messed up, I think they came out nice for a first try.  Definitely going to be making more for family and friends!

I tried to use what I already had on hand for embellishments except for the glitter butterflies.  As soon as I saw them they went in my cart at Michaels.  Too cute!  Of course, I also got out my trusty Viva Decor Paper Pen in Opal.  I really need to save up to buy all the different colors.  They are some truly awesome pens for decor.  I believe you can use them on fabric too.  Multi-purpose!  I think I am my own worst enabler!

Oops, I almost forgot, when you go to a BBQ, you can’t go empty handed.  I whipped up this flag to take with me. It has three layers.  Bottom is blue, middle white and the top is red.  The mold had stars on it but I replaced them with blueberries.  The white stripes are Cool Whip.  It was piped on with a star tip but by the time I remembered to take a picture, it had melted and oozed.  Who knew Cool Whip melted that fast LOL.   Trust me, she looked better before the boy’s hot breath thawed it.  I told them they had to wait as they panted on it.

Jell-O had a promotion at our local grocery store that if you bought three 6 oz. packs you got a free flag mold.  Score!  I am not a big fan of Jell-O but my boys are.  Besides what party would be complete without it!

Well, hope you enjoy and if you have any questions about the letters or oozie Cool Whip, just hit the comments.  I will get back to you as soon as possible.  Have a blessed day!!

I can’t see your mistakes but I too had trouble with the letters good to know I am not the only one. Your jello mold looks great even if it did melt a bit. You have encouraged me to give it one more try on the letters, Thanks sharalyn

Foil lovers... we heard you. Since our foil equi Foil lovers... we heard you.

Since our foil equipment went down, the messages and emails have not stopped. We know how much you love the look and honestly we love it too.

Replacing commercial foil equipment runs into the tens of thousands of dollars and, like a lot of small businesses right now, that's just not realistic.

After months of testing with our existing setup, we think we found a way to bring foil back.

It's not mass factory perfect. Occasionally there may be a tiny spot where the foil doesn't pull 100%. Nothing obvious, nothing we wouldn't personally use, and nothing that doesn't meet our standards will ship.

But overall? We think it looks pretty gorgeous.

Before we officially bring foil back…

Would you still want it knowing it's handcrafted and not machine perfect?

Tell me honestly in the comments. Your feedback will decide this one.

Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reaso Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reason…

They’re narrow.

And I get it.
Personal is the perfect middle ground. Bigger than Pocket, fits in your purse, but way more portable than A5.

But the width?
That’s always been the complaint.

Lately I’ve been seeing people try to squeeze Personal Wide into standard Personal binders… and then wonder why the pages stick out.

So instead of making it wider… I went the other direction.

Foldouts.

For 2026, I reworked the layout to give you more planning space without changing the footprint.

Month on one page
Straight into your weekly
Dashboard space (because you know I had to keep that)
And when it’s folded?
Standard Personal Size. Fits your binder like it should.

Now I need your opinion before I finalize this…
