New Release Blog Hop at My Thoughts Exactly

September 2, 2012 by Rebecca Wagner 18 Comments

Yep, it is that time again for the My Thoughts Exactly Release Party Blog Hop!  We have some great peeks at the new Halloween stamps, and some awesome inspiration.  Oh, a giveaway too.  LOL  Let’s get some details out of the way first.  If you came here from Wida’s blog you are right in line.  If not, start back at the beginning so you don’t miss anything. Those little bats are to die for!  I love the font on the Subway art.  So cool looking.  Just so you know, Fright Night Phrases and Ghostly Greetings are back this year with an amazing Halloween Super Bundle.  You get all the Halloween stamps with free shipping for $50!  That’s one heck of a deal.

My Thoughts Exactly also has another surprise.  They will now be releasing SVGs to match their art sets and these will all be FREE!  Check out the Fright Night Friends matching SVGs, they are free!  Alyssa also has a Stationery set for $2.  This file is FREE for Cutting Edge Magazine subscribers. They can only grab it for free if they subscribe to this first Sept/Oct issue, then the only way to get it will be in the store.  I have more information but let’s get to my project first.

Didn’t I say I loved those little bats?  Their expressions are so adorable.  Anyway, I made little treat bags to give you an example for this month’s challenge.

I bet you are wondering where I got those cute little canvas bags.  Well let me tell you, they are from State Line Bag Co. and are this challenge’s sponsor.  Say a big thank you to State Line Bag Co.!  Yea!  If you would like to check them out, here is their Etsy shop and Facebook page.  I really enjoyed working with them.  A nice, high quality little bag.

I did say something earlier about a giveaway, didn’t I?  Well, My Thoughts Exactly will be giving away 25 of these cute little bags along with three $10 gift codes to the store.  WooHoo!  Just fill out the widget below to be entered to win.  Instructions are on the giveaway.

After entering the giveaway, you are now on your way to the next blog in our hop.

It’s the amazing Kendra!

Good luck and happy crafting!

Foil lovers... we heard you. Since our foil equi Foil lovers... we heard you.

Since our foil equipment went down, the messages and emails have not stopped. We know how much you love the look and honestly we love it too.

Replacing commercial foil equipment runs into the tens of thousands of dollars and, like a lot of small businesses right now, that's just not realistic.

After months of testing with our existing setup, we think we found a way to bring foil back.

It's not mass factory perfect. Occasionally there may be a tiny spot where the foil doesn't pull 100%. Nothing obvious, nothing we wouldn't personally use, and nothing that doesn't meet our standards will ship.

But overall? We think it looks pretty gorgeous.

Before we officially bring foil back…

Would you still want it knowing it's handcrafted and not machine perfect?

Tell me honestly in the comments. Your feedback will decide this one.

Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reaso Personal Size planners get a bad rap for one reason…

They’re narrow.

And I get it.
Personal is the perfect middle ground. Bigger than Pocket, fits in your purse, but way more portable than A5.

But the width?
That’s always been the complaint.

Lately I’ve been seeing people try to squeeze Personal Wide into standard Personal binders… and then wonder why the pages stick out.

So instead of making it wider… I went the other direction.

Foldouts.

For 2026, I reworked the layout to give you more planning space without changing the footprint.

Month on one page
Straight into your weekly
Dashboard space (because you know I had to keep that)
And when it’s folded?
Standard Personal Size. Fits your binder like it should.

Now I need your opinion before I finalize this…
