Trendy Twine Guest Designer Plus a Giveaway!

Welcome everyone! I am so excited! I have the privilege to be the guest designer at one of my favorite stores in the whole world - Trendy Twine! Yea for me! I also have a pretty good giveaway for you all! OK, enough with the exclamation points! I'll stop gushing and get right to the project and then the giveaway rules *squee*.

What's the best thing a girl can get on Valentine's Day? Well, diamonds are great too but I was thinking a little less expensive. How about chocolate? And what better way to receive chocolate than in an adorable box that can be used as decor after you eat everything in it? That got me thinking of transforming the Spirits of Christmas Past Butterfly Box by SVG Cuts into my own personal utopia.

I thought I would showcase not one but two twines in my project.  Since this is a Valentine's Day project, I wanted to use Trendy Twine's special Valentine Cherry Cupcake.  Just thinking about that one makes me hungry!  I used three strands and braided them together for the hanger.  It's pretty sturdy on its own but I wanted to give it more bulk.  The second color I used was Posy.  This is one of my favorites because of the soft cream with the pink.

As you can see, I used the Posy around the heart and pink frame.  I think it matches perfectly.

Yum, chocolate goes in the side there.  I think if I tried really hard I could get two in there.  Where'd it all go?

The little plastic red hearts were purchased at Hobby Lobby.  I then used 20 gauge jewelery wire glued to the back to make a kind of spray.  You can't see it very well but I also used the My Thoughts Exactly Lovey Puns - Food on the tickets.  They say "best friends" and "love you."

Yeah, I ate the Hershey bar already.  Sue me, I needed chocolate.  I might put another in and give it to my mom, maybe.  ^__^  Hope you liked today's project and a big thank you to Lesley over at Trendy Twine for letting me bore her followers with a guest designer post.  Liked it, hated it - let me know in the comments.
